European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities 2021
SEEPH 2021 – 25th edition – from November 15 to 21
Today is the start of the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (EWPD), so this is an opportunity for us to tell you about our commitment to social inclusion through work.
This week is a moment of sharing and exchange where we can learn and raise awareness about the work of people with disabilities. As for the previous editions, LADAPT, Agefiph and FIPHFP are co-organizers and propose several meetings around the themes: Youth with disabilities and Rurality.
Since our creation, the commitment we show for the development of autonomy and mobility of our users does not weaken. In 2017, we had wanted to go even further and allow people with disabilities to join our production team. It’s done, our French manufacturing workshop, New Live EA, has been recognized as an Adapted Company since that date. We currently employ 6 employees recognized as disabled workers for the manufacture of our electric wheelchair, the Magix 2. This approach is in line with the company’s commitments to include disabled workers and promote diversity within the company.
“Created in 2005, adapted companies enable people with disabilities to access employment under conditions adapted to their abilities. They support them in their professional project and can be a gateway to other private and public employers.” (Source: National Union of Adapted Companies)
Our priority is to provide solutions every day to improve the daily life of our employees and users.
